Ideas for survey about professional membership
Hi all,
I know we are focused on the upcoming member meeting, but I had some time today to also compile other thoughts as part of the side project on developing a survey of why people don't join AATA. When you have time, feel free to check out the attached and after the July 13 meeting, maybe we can return to a survey of what keeps people from membership. It became a very interesting rabbit hole!

I thought your document was interesting & engaging. As someone trying to get more involved in these membership communities, I resonated with what most of the document said about to apathy regarding the value of being in professional organizations. I was disheartened in my masters program with how we could not get students in our program to engage, it felt like such a missed opportunity to develop community & a supportive network of peers.
