Change Meeting tonight
If you are available this evening to join the Art Therapists for Equality's Change meeting (7pm EST/ 4pm PST), we are discussing the current issues with AATA and any strategies we can find for addressing the silencing of member voices.
Most recently, we have been pursuing issues such as: the lack of a Sexual Assault policy (a draft is in progress), changes to governance without member awareness (nominations committee), and inconsistent and structural limitations to member voice, such as the members voting for monthly all-member meetings, yet the BoD has denied these.
The AATA BoD has not only failed to uphold the all-member monthly meetings but has also deviated from the previous bi-monthly meetings, resulting in no all-member meetings in April, May, or June, with the next all-member meeting in July. We hope to come up with a strategy for continuing the momentum in member voice tonight.

Is there anyway that we can start an email list to send invites for the change meetings. I think this website is a good resource, I just have trouble logging on from my phone. I'm just now seeing this post the day after on my laptop. I can help with this in anyway as well.
